Theodore Roosevelt Park

Adjacent to the American Museum of Natural History on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Theodore Roosevelt Park is rated one of the top five small parks in New York City. 

Friends of Roosevelt Park manages the park together with the museum and New York City’s parks department.

Nobel laureate Norman Borlaug

Norman Borlaug won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1970 for his work in finding high-yielding wheat that saved many people from starvation. His name appears on the monument in Roosevelt Park.
